adidas’s Director Development Experience program (DDE), has won a prestigious award for the third year in a row. At the ATD’s 2023 International Conference in San Diego, the program was honoured with an Excellence In Practice Award for the Leadership Development category. This award builds on the success of last year’s Brandon Hall Group award for ‘Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Program’.
Researched, designed, and delivered through an Artgym X adidas collaboration, the program is now in its fifth year and running stronger than ever. Delivered in over 20 countries, this highly innovative leadership development experience won the award because it delivers such exceptional results.
The Excellence in Practice Awards honor companies that have demonstrated clear, measurable and sustainable results against organizational goals. They also look for practices that have meet a demonstrated need, have appropriate design values, and are clearly aligned with other performance improvement initiatives.
Categories for the awards include career development, change management, coaching and mentoring, customer service training, diversity and inclusion, learning technologies, managing the learning function, onboarding, and sales enablement. Applications are assessed in a rigorous blind review by members of the Awards Advisory Committee, comprising of leading experts in the field.
