Earlier this year, we worked with long-time client adidas to submit the global MDE leadership program we’d developed with them into the coveted Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards. Today, we are delighted to announce that it’s won Gold in the category of ‘Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Program.’
The MDE (Manager Development Experience) program was designed to bring a more consistent and global approach to leadership development across adidas’s workforce. Researched, designed and delivered by Artgym, the program began in 2017 and continues to this day across all territories. It has changed the learning game for adidas and much of the design and methodology has been replicated in subsequent programs.
The HCM Excellence Awards provide validation of best practices in all areas of HCM. Entries are evaluated by a panel of independent, senior industry experts, as well as Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives, based upon the following criteria:
- Fit the need
- Design of the program
- Overall measurable benefits
This year’s winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference being held in February at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida.
Brandon Hall Group CEO, Mike Cooke, commented on how this year’s awards have changed to reflect the current business climate:
“We added several awards categories this year to specifically address critical needs, including how organizations addressed the new dynamics of work and embedded the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in their HCM practices.
Winning organizations in all categories demonstrated a people centric approach while driving superior business results under challenging and unprecedented conditions. Demonstrating HCM’s impact on the business is what sets our awards apart.”
